Welcome to Fox Creek Sporthorses! Our focus is on breeding Thoroughbreds for careers in the English and Dressage disciplines. Though Thoroughbreds were bred for their speed on the racing and steeplechase tracks, the athleticism required can also set them up for success in other disciplines, making them one of the most versatile breeds in the world.

Although our mission is to breed superior sporthorses, we are also tremendous advocates of the breed and like to prove our stock in the competition ring - even if their careers may not lead to the breeding shed. Sometimes champions come in the most unlikely of packages. We have had numerous horses that appear to be "nothing special" as young horses, only to shock the competition and fly up the levels!

We currently have a small string of broodmares proven in competition or selected for their pedigree strength in the traits that will make their foals most successful in our chosen disciplines. The fillies we produce are all competed to the Grand Champion level as mares prior to being added to the broodmare string - we want to propagate lines that will succeed in the show ring. We also stand a few stallions who are competed to the highest levels and selected for their performance as well as their ability to pass on their superior athleticism to their foals. We keep our breeding program small so that we can concentrate on cultivating quality and competing our stock.

If you compete a Fox Creek homebred to Grand Champion or beyond, please inquire with us about a free breeding to any of our studs or a brood lease from one of our outstanding mares. We occasionally offer stock for sale to keep our numbers down, and are open to brood leases on our mares where you select the stallion (ours, yours, or another up for public stud) and the foal will be privately sold to you once weaned for the stud fee plus a flat fee to provide for the care of the pregnant mare and foal through weaning.
