I really suck at at.

I Use Hired hands only and can never get surefoot, agility, and movement up. Am i doing something wrong? Are  you supposed to click the tabs and pick what you want your trainer to do that month? I alternate between trainers, exercise riders and they all need more grooming.  Any advice is appreciated here or at the barn.  thanks

Whatever you are training in must not raise those stats.  If you want all the stats to go up, that would require exercise hands, not trainers.  I usually hand train, but if I do use trainers, I train in foal, which they usually finish at about 7 or 8 months.  Then put them on a trainer till they are a year old.  Next back on trainer for greenbroke, which takes close to a year.  Then train for about a week real time in whatever discipline, then on a groomer full time until they are at 100% in coat and condition.  Then I usually go on an exerciser for a good long while, at least until 100% muscle tone, unless they aren't doing well in shows, and then I will put them back on a trainer for a few days, then back to exercise.

My personal opinion, based on my experience, is that they show better with the bottom 3 all at 100% and with more exercise.  Beginner and Intermediate are just that.  They aren't perfectly trained but the better physical condition they are in the higher the judge's marks will be.  Seems like since the changes, they even do pretty well without muscle tone being maxed but I just like to get all that out of the way before their futurities if possible.
